CursiveNest is designed so the text you enter into its generators and worksheets stays in your browser.

Local generator processing

Names, signatures, words, sentences, worksheet content, and other text entered into CursiveNest tools are processed locally on your device. The site does not upload this content to CursiveNest, Hetzner, or Google Analytics. Generated images, SVG files, and worksheet PDFs are created in your browser.

Essential browser storage

Favorites use session storage and disappear when the browser session ends. Your analytics choice is stored in local storage under cursivenest_consent_v1 as either analytics or essential. This storage is needed to remember the choice you made.

Google Analytics after opt-in

Google Analytics 4 is disabled until you select Allow analytics. Before that choice, Google Analytics scripts and requests are not loaded. If you opt in, CursiveNest sends a sanitized page path and limited interaction events about which tool or control was used. It never sends the names, signatures, phrases, sentences, worksheet text, query strings, or fragments you enter.

Analytics storage is granted only after opt-in. Advertising storage, ad user data, and ad personalization remain denied. Google may process technical information such as your IP address, browser and device details, and approximate location to provide the analytics service. Google is the recipient of this analytics data.

You can change or revoke your choice at any time with Privacy settings in the footer. Revocation stops future analytics events and CursiveNest attempts to remove its first-party Google Analytics cookies. You may also delete site data in your browser.

Hetzner hosting and DNS

The static site is hosted on infrastructure supplied by Hetzner, which also provides authoritative DNS for the domain. Hetzner may process server connection and security logs, including IP addresses, request metadata, and timestamps, to operate and secure the hosting and DNS services.

Retention and your rights

CursiveNest does not maintain user accounts or a database of generator content. Provider security logs and opted-in analytics data are retained according to the configured provider settings and applicable legal requirements. Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict, or object to processing, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
